Thank you to Jessie Martelhof for leading a wonderful Herbalist & Foraging Walk in Hollingdean on 3 July 2026. Locals enjoyed an evening discovering wild herbs and traditional plants growing in our parks and local fields, learning about plants that are often overlooked and simply called “weeds”.

A big thank you to Jessie for sharing her knowledge of wild herbs, foraging and traditional plants with our local community. The walk gave us the opportunity to learn more about the edible and medicinal plants growing around Hollingdean, and to see our local green spaces from a different perspective.
