A very BIG Thank You to everyone for your help, donations and good company at our AGM Plant & Seed Fair 2026

We had a beautiful day at St Richard’s Church, Beal Crescent, Hollingdean
We are still buzzing from our AGM Plant & Seed Fair. What an incredible community we have! So many lovely plants found new homes. Lots of people swapped or bought, and chatted about plants all afternoon. Inside the amazing tombola prizes donated by local supporters and businesses disappeared very quickly. And of course… plenty of tea, cake and conversation were enjoyed by many. Together, we raised enough to cover many of our core costs this year, including our insurance, website, tools, maintenance, printing, and refreshments for volunteers.
We also had a special treat for plant and nature enthusiasts. Ben Bennatt, Ecologist, talked about the beautiful range of plants found around Hollingdean and Hollingbury Hillfort, including important chalk grassland species. Special thanks to Ben for sharing his knowledge and expertise with so many of us.

Thank you also to all the local businesses who donated to our Tombola, see here. There was a long queue as we opened and the prizes went quickly.

And a big Thank you to St Richard’s for hosting us this year- it has been a real support.

As ever…Thank you to all our fantastic volunteers, we could not do this without you!
